Yup, means they can kidnap who they want, wherever they want, and it's legal (in the US anyway).
So India, in a nice developing-country way, is adopting the rules of its political bigger brother. All it's going to need now is its version of the CIA and a translation of "extraordinary rendition" and it can start to rock 'n roll.

Oh, and yeah, it's normal that India tries to prevent other countries from getting nuke info like it did. It's the "do as I say" rule, didn't you know ?

Relax. Outlawing even extraterritorial activities is not a new idea, and not a weird one, either.
In Germany and other EU states, Child abuse is a crime no matter where it was committed. The goal was to make it possible to act against EU sex tourists abusing little girls in poor Asian countries.
Of course, Pakistan is going the reverse way here (outlawing foreign activities in their own country rather than outlawing their own citizens' activities in another country). However, I am sure that the US and other countries already do this as well. Export control regulations, anyone?

The FBI, NASA and CIA used to be the big hacking achievements. Who would have thought the Pakistani's would post up an even bigger challenge -- cheat death! :)

I know hackers are no goofs... and dominantly we are pleagued with wannabe hackers in our cirlcles, families threatning death through emails at general family matters, marriage, love, chat wars etc. So this step is in right direction though i will not credit it to Pakistan president Zardari but i will give credit to I.S.I (Pakistani version of CIA)

I agree hacking into sensitive files containing nuclear, chemical, biological information should be a huge crime, but GOOD LUCK proving it, let alone trying to put a death penalty to someone over this? Especially for this quote below...

Ah so india thinks they can just say what they want and rule with what laws they wish in the world? a HUGE LOL at that. I shook my head when i read this. 

They have so many problems in that country as it is, how dare they say other countries have to follow their LAW. Especially trying to put someone to Death? And if you're falsely accussed, imagine the stress for yourself, your family, couples, kids, etc. GG india, now go away, we dont want you, we dont need you or your useless country.

He seems to be advocating the death penalty for those hackers who could be blamed for causing a death through their endeavours. McKinnon would have nothing to fear in this case, nor would the vast majority of other hackers in the world. 

Give me a solid example of a hacker who could be blamed for a death due to their hacking and you'll have a name you could insert in that story instead. I think you'll be searching for a very long time though.
