/sigh

The point is he DID do something wrong, but that what he did wrong should get him a fine and a slap, maybe some months or a year in jail, but to throw away the key and put him away basically for life is sick, and just shows how sick and fanatically hysteric our systems of govt/defence have become, it makes me very sad and ashamed to be a human being quite frankly. One would hope that now Bush has been pushed out that era is over, but I guess not.

The reason some folks believe no crime was committed is...

... because these people are in denial. They seem to be completely oblivious to the laws of society. To hear the mis-informed, hacking and piracy aren't crimes at all. I'm sure they will be spouting the same foolishness as the prison cell door slams closed behind them.

The lack of reality is a big mystical get-out-of jail-free card these days for those who try to escape personal accountability. Fortunately the judicial system isn't having none of this foolishness.

Gary's delaying games are just about over. If the asswipe syndrome defense doesn't work, let's see if he "finds God" before or after his trial.

Hopefully Gary will be prosecuted in the U.S.

It really doesn't matter if McKinnon has asswipe disease, braindead syndrome or bad breath, he committed a crime in the U.S. and he should be prosecuted in the U.S. like any other scumbag criminal. He will be treated the same as any other piece of garbage who can't live within the laws of society.

Hate to nitpick, but...

Marillion aren't a 'supergroup' (ie a group assembled from succesful musicians from other groups).

This one isn't a nitpick, but there is doubt over whether the defendant has been diagnosed with Aspergers.

shame on govs

US government is helpless to fight China’s hackers army and uses curious McKinnon as scapegoat to save their staff who was responsible of computer security.. Shame.

Gullible talking heads

By gosh, Gary was just looking for UFOs in them there military computers that those Americans have. He weren't doin' no wrong. He's just a good ole boy who was snoopin' around for little green men - NOT!

I'm sure Gary's U.S., cellmate Bubba, will be glad to explain all about UFOs to Mr. Gary.

He did something illegal

Why do people think that just because nothing was damaged, that he did nothing wrong. If someone breaks into my house, and doesn't touch anything, I'm still calling the police for breaking into my house.

And they will promptly arrest them.

Do you think the move was justified?
