...I'm just waiting for the 8.9" version with an Atom processor, which I expect to be out long before Christmas. A screen that fills the lid without adding any significant size or weight, and a less power-hungry processor, address my two main gripes with the 701 - I don't need anything bigger or "better", especially if that pushes the price up yet again.

The technology world moves so fast there's always something new just around the corner, if you wait until christmas and buy the latest one you will still feel like you should have waited because there will be an even newer version being talked about.
