More game-ads on the way then, yay

Wasn't Bioware made part of the EA collective? so should it not say Lucas and EA?
I'm just saying, people might want to curb their enthusiasm about the results.

What was that ?

Isn't there already an online game with Jedi running amok in a vast persistent universe ?
Oh yeah, there is, but nobody plays it anymore because it sucks.
So Bioware thinks it can overcome the hurdle of suckiness inherent to almost all Star Wars games and produce something of interest ?
Fine. Good luck to them.
Just one thing though : beware that if you don't include Jedi and Sith, you'll have the fanboyz ranting endlessly that you cannot play with lightsabers, and if you do, you'll have them ranting that EVERYBODY has a lightsaber.
How you're going to get around that will be fun to watch - from afar.

stop guessing

I know everyone is jumping for joy at this news, finally the chance for a good Star Wars online game. However, no where in any of these articles from Bioware/Lucas, have they mentioned Star Wars, or KOTOR.

I hope they are making a Star Wars online, but lets not get over excited yet.

Gimme Indie any Day!

I am betting on an Indiana Jones MMORPG :)

Most Star Wars games do suck. I blame Lucas, hell only two and a half out of six movies was any good.

starwards? really?

I thought Bioware turned down KOTOR2 and NWN2 because they wanted to develop their own game universes, like Mass Effect and Dragon age.
