Author seems to have a bent towards Intel.. It is like those kids who jump out in joy when they see their fav actor in the tv.

Anyway,

Programmers still need to vectorize and multi-thread their algorithms to make use of this! -- This has a learning curve -- unlike what Pat Gelsinger was telling before!

But it is good that they have brought Larrabee as CPU ! Now, they can handle system calls as well - which is a straight-win over CUDA!

But I am wondering how single-thread applications would run on these multi-core, yet slow CPUs...

How long will Windows to take boot with such a hardware?
