Launch of iPhone in Germany causes T-Mobiles Edge Network to go down

Seems that T-Mobile was not quite well prepared - on launch day first their website, from which the iPhone could be ordered went offline early in the morning. Then next the EDGE network broke down, which the iPhone users tried to use their new gadgets.
