Could the crime rate be a symptom of the economic decline in the country?

I don't think tougher gun laws will do a damn thing, criminals are already using them.

I too live in Chicago

Loved the response by the Chicago PD and the City that we need tougher gun laws. Guns of all types have been 100% illegal in the city for years. What's happened? Crime's been steadily going up. When will the comparisons to Washington DC start? At least we don't have to deal with the meddling federal politicians here... oh wait, forgot about Mr. Obama.

Watch closely people: if our (possibly) next president couldn't help out his own backyard, how's he going to help the nation?

I think there is only one rule of thumb here:

Selling computer games doesn't kill people.

Selling firearms DOES.

And we just had like 30 people shot(I think 8 died) this weekend. Pretty sure that puts Ramadi to shame.
