You need whats specified & large fast system need plenty of memory.

Even at $50 per gigabyte its $200 minimum job & snuggles with ULTIMATE today, yet as faster & greater demands are made with higher speeds in, more memory is first line of defense, so 3 slots per channel or 6 2 gb sticks with plenty o' ECC to control it all & reg if dr3/4
top speeders.
