yeah.. so i manufacture gun.. and i sell to gunstore and someone buy that gun from store.. and that person kill ppl and i get sued because of that..? thats not right bros this just show why mdy shouldnot get sued but player should be ban if blizzard found out that player using bot..

So I suppose if you spank your child its because you are a sadist? No. What Blizzard has done was to send a message that they won't tolerate the sales of BOT programs that infringe on there game. They also ban players that use them. A monetary judgment is just how you disaprin in the corprate world.

I see it as an important breakthrough for all online gammers! Cheating has always been a problem with all online games. And this was cheating no other way to see it. While the most of us that play do it the way it was intended the few that use trash like this seem to not see a problem. So what if they cut hours of time off the game how does it hurt anyone? Well it hurts everyone that plays fair...This extends to all online games and I hope to see more of these jerks get nailed to the wall.

Blizzard are a good developer and have released some great game there greeds changes the way I think about them. They should have banned people from using it as in the buyer/player/account holder but they went for the person with the money.

Thats all it is in the games industry now get the money forget about quality thats with some devs (cough... EA). Blizzard/Activision as there now called are turning greedy if you can't have the peice of the pie take them to court and get it all.

So basically a program that generated 2.5m $ income on illegal and wrong practices is worth 6m $ in damages? RIAA anyone?

Nope, glider doesn't automate activities like killing bosses. This is specifically pretty much the opposite of what it does- killing bosses requires several people reacting to different stuff in a co-ordinated manner, and the bot doesn't have anything like the ability to do that.

It's good for setting down in some area and "harvesting" puny creatures/resources, and very little else. Still, doesn't sound as good, eh?

Firstly, I still have no idea how someone else havingloads of cash effects *my* game in anyway? Once you've bought your epic mount cash has very little use. Getting the mount isn't particularly hard or time consuming.

Secondly, isn't it the end user who breaks Bliz's copyright? They're the ones with an account and have agree'd to abide by the rules., not the creator of the software.

Either way, this action strikes me as a bit spiteful on Blizz's part.
