I know its hard to imagine, but, the Democrats have traditionally been even more in bed with the industry than the Republics. They are both sides of the same debased zinc coin.

Democrats being in control? Certainly its a technicality when it is only by a few seats. In order to pass anything you need a vast majority, which the democrats don't have.

NOW if you were talking a couple of years ago, when the Republicans were in control, then something could have been done... Then again, they had the power and nothing happened and now after they lost seats, nothing is happening either and one reason is because some reps can't bring themselves to cooperate.

Don't swallow your party propaganda. There are a lot of bad apples on both sides.

I thought Democraps were in control of the Senate? Surely THEY wouldn't act on behalf of the industry mafia, they are the party of the PEOPLE, the WORKERS.

I have a theory. The Senate is under the control of a Sith Lord. The Senators think that what they are doing is of their own free will, but in reality they are being manipulated...

As a citizen of a country with the most corrupt government in the world, Im not surprised. Even though judges have been throwing these cases out, proving they are invalid, our government is now going to make it easier and give more lee way to these big companies. It just goes to show, our government will do anything you want, for the right price.

I wonder if the MPAA / RIAA realize that their product is a luxury. If the luxury starts to have teeth and bite the owner then people will just stop purchasing that luxury. It's really that simple.
