I've used both

I've used both ebay and Craigslist to get rid of stuff. In my view, EBay and Craigslist aren't direct competitors.

Ebay is good for small and valueable things that aren't expensive to ship.

Craigslist is good for:
-cheap stuff where the listing fee and shipping cost would be higher than the item is worth.
-stuff that's expensive to ship because it's heavy/big
-if you just want to give away something for free

If you want to get top dollar for something, list it on EBay. If you just want to get rid of something and get a bit of money, put it on Craigslist.

Really?

Did a kindergardener log in to dictate the above poster's message?

Looking at usage stats and personal experience, eBay and Skype are still strong. Craigslist is handy (I got my truck from a listing there) and offers a quality service distinctly different from eBay (I've never even heard of Kijiji).

Skype offers group voice chat with amazing clarity, and until Gizmo, Google Talk, Ekiga, or Pidgin implement something similar, Skype will continue to have my business.

Authorities in several countries raided Megaupload recently, shut down all of its services, seized hundreds of servers and arrested several of its executives on criminal charges.

Do you think the move was justified?
