Seems from a cursory look at their sites that XFX and Gainward are both happily selling Nvidia cards. I smell more lies from Sylvie who is sounding just as corrupt these days as Charlie.

There is a saying that what goes around comes around.

And this is long overdue coming, as the "going around" has been insufferable from the greens for many years.

The only thing more pleasing to me than this is the plummeting value of Nvidia shares, it keeps me warm and cosy at night to know that they've dropped 80% in the last few months.

It seems too coincidental that articles written by Sylvie Barak are becoming almost exactly the same style, rabid anti-nvidia spin and equal level of cheap and unprofessional misdirection as those written by Charlie Djemeran.

If you look close enough, all the indicators are there that articles written under either name are actually penned by the same physical person who's doing the equivalent of an 'anonymous coward'.

J'accuse Charlie/Sylvie/whoever you are.

If Nvidia is having trouble selling its chips/cards/whatever, it does not seem to be a good move to cease relations with a number of vendors that could help Nvidia sell more.
Of course, ego has logic that logic ignores, and no one will deny that Nvidia has one great big ego sitting at its top.
Nonetheless, it seems quite curious that Nvidia would make such a decision in its current state.
It seems a lot more logical that its partners would decide to cease relations with a company that makes stuff they cannot sell.
I just hope it won't last too long, since competition is sorely needed in the graphics arena.

I feel that is the other way round. Five partners dump Nvidia.

I'm an ATI fan but I sure hope Nvidia pulls through out of this. Competition is always good. But for the time being I'm not touching any Nvidia product until I'm sure the bumping material has been thoroughly sorted out and the channel is clean enough of these little suckers.

One thing I don't completely understand though is why Nvidia is decreasing the number of AIB partners. Why should they care as long as they're selling their chips? Is the market getting flooded with unwanted Nvidia cards? I know a lot of AIB partners source their cards from some unknown, behind-the-scenes card manufacturer. So is this unknown manufacturer telling Nvidia that it should lower output so the market would move faster (i.e. when Nvidia lowers prices, the effects would reflect faster in a smaller market with less buffer stock)? Someone please explain this.

Why on earth would NV want to part ways with their partners if NV Vid cards are so special? Why would NV partners jump ship? Who's cards would they want to sell? Intel? They don't make stand alone video cards. So if certain partners won't be selling NV cards and Intel doesn't make stand alone cards, who's cards will they be selling?
