In fact Windows Mobile always had some piece of Software called Pocket Internet Explorer. Only problem is - it's Internet Explorer Version 3: No Javascript, no CSS, no nothing. Just vaporware from the vole, like always.
What do you mean by "goes mobile"? A Java version? IE has been mobile for some time, as it comes standard for devices running Windows Mobile and Windows CE...
Windows Mobile has been competing with Blackberry since Windows Mobile 5.0 - I've had push email to my Windows Mobile 5 device for the last couple of years from our Exchange servers. All you need is WM5 and Exchange 2003 with SP2.
