Resolution support

I have my VirtualBox windows session working at 1280x1024, not sure if you have installed the guest additions for the VM session or not Colin. You can do this by launching the VM session once booted up then click Devices from the VMBox menu then select "install guest additions tools" this will in turn launch a installer which will add the virtual graphics driver so that you can support higher resolutions. Now this doesn't support 3d hardware acceleration but hey it's free.

I use my VM for database/web server so 3d hardware graphics is not required.

Hope this helps

Moved to 2.0 without any pain :)

Just wanted to let ya know that I was running 1.6 and moved to 2.0 without any pains at all. As you mentioned just make sure that you keep the same base config and all works like a charm.

I'm running a Windows server 2003 build on ubuntu (hardy) 64bit version and all works as should be, no BSOD or anything.

Noticed a slight performance increase from previous version, also great that they added repository for debian based distros so you can always keep up to date with the versions :D.

Cheers

as much as I like it...

It still lacks "proper" gfx card support - i'm limited to 800x600...

The install wasn't as smooth as expected, the old version had to be uninstalled first - I half expected this just to install over the top.
