About 30 % of the population has problems with scents to one degree or another, all the way from 'that's making my nose run' to 'call 911!', so this has to be the dumbest idea ever.
IMO Asus is trying to prevent the inevitable demise of their operation by using gimmicks to sucker naive consumers. Their electronics has been documented to have countless technical issues over the past 5 of so years and things seem to be getting worse by yhe day. Quite sad when Asus at one time was the top of the heap of mobo makers from Asia.

Quite a few people react badly to these petrochemical fragrances, especially ADHD sufferers. It's bad enough that petrochemical colorings and flavorings infest our processed foods:
