I like it! (Mr Burns style)

Thats the best thing I have heard today. I say extend DRM to every physical media imaginable, thats what I think is the best way to proceed.

The sooner they do this, the sooner such obsolete mediums die.
DRM on DVDs? excellent, it bosts IPTV and TV on demand services. Now everyone can be a video/audio content provider.

No more cumbersome studios, no chain of middlement to feed. Source and client thats all we need thank you.

Its just a hassle to get a DVD, rip it, convert and all that. Why can't we get it as a file?
It can save people like me themoney to buy a DVD drive & the time to update the firmware & rip it for 10 minutes.

Thank you apple! Thank you DRM developers, you guys are the greatest, we love you.
And thus far, all your protection are belong to us. :-D

P.S.

I wonder to what extend this technology will disfunction on Linux.
