It's pretty cool if you like mobile stuff. 500MW at full draw on the hacked up hardware reference (that's everything cranked up all the way: brightness, volume) and they expect it to go down to half that with the new screens / video chip that are coming in. The key word is "expect."

To 99flake:

In the world of portable devices, the word "Watt" (as in 1 Watt) is enough to get you shown the door before you start. This chip will likely be using microwatts when idle and milliwatts under full draw. That being the case, only the barest hint of a heat sink would even remotely, and it's not even likely, be required. Weight also counts and Gram or Ounce are dirty words too.
I agree, Windows Mobile is the weak link.

I just gave up my HTC "Tilt" for the Nokia N95.

I just got tired of having to restart the damn thing. Or the random sluggishness. Or it having to think for 15 seconds after I hit a button.

I know lots of people love them, but I couldn't stand those extra enhancements.

Android will be nice if they can get it right, but for now I'll go with something that on surface, appears to be more stable.

Ok, so that was a little off topic. I guess my point is, the hardware can be top notch, but if the "OS" running on it, is crap... Then it's like a mesh condom... What's the point?
