I agree that it's likely the battery, not the phone, that exploded
and the question now is what does it say about those cheap "brand-less" batteries that flood the market?
There are lots of such batteries offered on EBAY for a fraction of the price you would get comparable ones from Energizer or Duracell. Can these explode, too?
