I am Mikey, CCL's VGA card buyer and do apologise for any delays on these cards that you are having to experience. 

I'm currently ordering all the stock of these cards that I can source - which is proving difficult so far! 

XFX have not given me an exact date (apart from the 5 cards that are due in tomorrow/Wednesday) but he says it shouldn't be too long now... Fingers crossed! 

All stock I can get hold of goes on the day that it arrives with the card being so sought after.

So please bear with us, the info on our site is as accurate as it can be so please keep your eye on it.

Not a single card has arrived here in the Benelux. Even my dealer told me that XFX is allocating most of it's stock to the US.
What really strikes me is that people can't wait 2 weeks until RV670 launches so they can make a good comparison.

This is fairly normal. Retailers like to overstate the availability of any exciting new product (and brand-new graphics cards certainly count as such).

After all, once they have your credit card number, they no longer need to care if the card pitches up a week late or a month late. Even if they have to give you a refund, they are still getting interest they are getting on your money.

Personally, I like to wait a couple of months after the cards have been reviewed by end users. Prices usually dip quite a bit after the initial "I-must-have-this-new-toy" surge. And it means availability is generally good.

Sounds like they rushed out faultyish stock to avoid it being labelled a paper launch, but the delays now just seem to confirm it.

I thought these GTs were going to be really cheap! At £176 (DABS), they aren't alot different in price to the GTS cards.
Ho, hum, will stick with the X1950 pro.

..got the superclocked version to be exact, and it works great in all games, even crysis. well done nvidia/EVGA/ebuyer :-)

good job i already got my 8800gt seen as i ordered it on release day. Kev it is better than the GTS so it is a low price for a card that rivals the GTX, the x1950 will do for a while but not for long :P
