Just checked my Gmail account the link is there and working

Works for me.

This new privacy stuff is on my account and seems to work fine, reporting my Gmail notifier, iGoogle and Google Mail access over the last couple of hours.

It's real, my account has the link.

Yes I have the details tab in the footer section of gmail

Just checked my gmail account and it did have a "Details" link in the footer. Clicking it brought up pretty much what you show in the article. Guess I'll have to leave an account logged on at work and see if I can close it from home.
