As the Internet increasingly becomes part of our lives, Internet addiction disorder has received much attention. My son is only 5 years old and he just began to use Internet, but I so worry about him that I bought internet filtering software called Ez Internet which allows setting time limits. Maybe it’s paranoia, but better safe than sorry.

Just kidding, but even in the US, I have often stated that we now prefer a good old fashioned power failure over losing Internet access.

I honestly never thought it would change how I research things until we got broadband 8 years ago. Whenever the computer is on, entertainment and information is just a few keystrokes (mouse clicks) away.
