This is a pretty old post with no comments...

However... It sure would be an improvement to have the AMD processors, especially for the lower end where there is no second processor to help out. Lower end AMD chips tend two have two times the FSB speed of an intel chip with similar prices.

I personally would like to see a dual AMD quad or six core setup from Apple..
Twelve cores of AMD goodness for me to use for whatever I see fit, without having to use Microshit Windows on it...

Sounds like a dream to me.
