Casino gambling IS NOT legal in good ol' KY. May become one day, but currently we have to go and visit the gambling boats in Indiana for this type of sin indulgence. The state allows lottery sales (such as powerball and instant lottery tix), but not casinos.
Lol, gotta love the continued resistance of online gambling. Other countries have embraced it, tax it, and generate a lot of revenue because of it. The US, however, because of some backdoor addendum to a Port Security Bill, make online gambling illegal and spend taxpayer dollars to try and prevent it, which is unsuccessful because there are still hundreds of online poker sites.

I understand that certain states depend on revenue from casinos, I live in NJ about 40 minutes from Atlantic City, but online gambling is going to occur, so why not keep some of our money from going to offshore or other countries and maybe even generate a little money from people outside the US at the same time?

It is just sad that they continue to fight this. US Regulators and Congress manage to turn a blind eye on banks which has led to one of the greatest financial downfalls in history, yet they manage to keep their eye on things like online gambling.... Maybe they should pull their heads out of their whatevers and start worrying about real issues like the economy and getting us out of Iraq.
