What security?

I had to fend off would be pick pockets and thieves more then a few time while in Barcelona at the MWC. Our Female co-workers had to be escorted to and from their hotels and apartments for fear of being mugged. The so called "crackdown" on crime was pitiful and the police presence in the subway dried up one or two stops away. They made a big show of force right in front of the MWC, right where it was needed least!

I hope so

I understand that big congress are important for a city but Barcelona from ten years on it's a tourist only city

living in Barcelona is a pain in the *** while there is a big congress. Traffic jams, poor mass transport and coolism makes the city an expensive and not pleasant place to live
