In Australia they have total Ban on all Guns and knives now even Laser pointers are hit with a total ban. With fines and prison time for all three if found in possession it make people feel that little bit safer when in public area's or school's. I'm sick of the line " Guns don’t kill people, People kill people " Sure Battle Tank's or Nuke's don’t kill people either but they sure make it allot easier too. 
Americans can rest easy now that those deadly mobile phones wont be hurting kid's in schools, If only Phones had lobbyists just like the guns do. Then someone higher up will receive a "donation" coff Pay off coff" to stop this law from coming into fruition.

Sheesh, what did we ever do before the days of wireless leashes attached to our children? Shouldn't the parents assume that their kids are in, you know, school? If not, it *is* disruptive to hear a phone ring during class, grade school or college. I know I've wanted to put a bullet in the head of some dude who was texting people during a movie. They should extend the ban to movie theatres as well.

As for school shootings, the last thing we need is mass panic due to kids getting calls from their parents about some incident. Plus, all classrooms will have a phone of some sort if there is any emergency, and kids can grab their phones from their lockers so they can have it when going home.
