They are improving

Before amd64 came you would have to go to online shops to get an amd based pc. Everything was intel. When amd64s were a year old things started to change. amd and intel is now equally available for the average joe in regular shops, both portable and stationary. I live in a country west of sweden, and east of iceland.

Are You Serious ?

The "Cautiously Optimitistic" opinion is laughable.
The Inq used to take no prisoners and examine everyones' statements with neither fear nor favor.
Over the course of this past year they have favored less analysis and more publishing of FUD.
Charlie detailed this years script last year and as he said AMD would have to execute perfectly. Just looking at 5 or 6 fabtech articles stitches together a complete picture of the production issues then combine those with the ATI acqusition and the deal with dell.
They simply bit off more than they could digest in a short period of time.
They will "Live Long And Prosper"

45nm On Schedule? Yeah, Sure It Is.....

45nm is On Track, eh? Yeah, sure. Let's review a little history about what happens when "someone" believes what AMD says about their process being on track.

Cautiously optimistic.

And you see where the analysts got them the past 2 years. Basically, "we pay analysts to put in a good word for us."

Fortunately, you have sites like the INQ who filter the BS rather than chase money. It's not what companies wish to see, but it's skipping over the BS analysts.

INQ Poll

Authorities in several countries raided Megaupload recently, shut down all of its services, seized hundreds of servers and arrested several of its executives on criminal charges.

Do you think the move was justified?
