Offered one

In the process of ordering a BT broadband connection I was offered one of these at a cost of an extra £5 a month. Since I wasnt interested they didnt say what the other charges were.

Yawn - BT need to sort out their customer service first

I recently signed up for BT Broadband with a wireless hub and whatever VoIP phone came with it - within 3 months I was so sick of them that a cancelled it, broke the 12 month contract and got a full refund for the whole service.

(1) They sent the equipment to the wrong address. (2) They mail merged mine and many other customers details incorrectly. (3) The non-geographic VoIP number I was issued was just cancelled and taken away for no reason. (4) My letter of complaint was "lost in the post". (5) The service dropped out too often. (6) Their help lines are outsourced and unable to do anything beyond read what their computer tells them to do and then tell you you're wrong. (7) The service is more expensive and slower than the only other carrier in the UK. Goes on, but all in all BT should stop messing with gimmicks and try and get the basics sorted first. I didn't CHURN naturally, they pushed me to by their complete lack of caring about existing business over winning new business.

6p per minute!!

Someone should tell BT that you get over 600 minutes to Pakistan using a common £5 phone card and this is through a free phone connection.

"manos"

They should release a further model called the Torgo, that allows you to make emergency calls from remote locations not even on GPS.

Do you think the move was justified?
