I found the statement " it's averaging 97% from reviews, with many top publications giving it 10/10" interesting. Obviously all of those ratings didn't come from anyone that actually tried to install it. I've been doing computer and network support for 20+ years and after 24 hours of pure frustration I've given up. You can only install it a small number of times on your computer. Yup, that's right - after that you are out of luck. You can ONLY install it from the DVD if you have an internet connection (better be a darn fast one). Oh, did I mention that you actually have to go modify yoru internet explorer and add proxy settings? yeah, that's right, The download installation uses internet explorers proxy settings to contact the mothership ... but you are going to have to go find a good proxy IP and usable port and then plug that info in yourself. If you don't know what a proxy connection is then well I guess this will be an educational experience for you. The list of frustrations goes on and on. i have a top-end system that is 2 months old WITH the hardware that they listed in their recommended requirements. Not good enough. expect to go searching for updated drivers and you will also have have to load beta drivers. Even then, that just gets you another 10 seconds into the intro before the game crashes to desktop again. it's not my software - I have Office installed, that's it. Rave reviews? yeah, maybe by their marketing department ... do yourself a favor and wait 5-10 years until they have all the issues worked out.
