they're not "easily offended" they are "easy to offend" that is why we all insist on picking on them, we talk about civil liberties yet we stand by and watch a minority community having their civil liberties stripped for the views of fringe elements that are not represented by the mainstream. 

the same will hapen to us when these draconian measures are extended to include everyone who stood by whilst a community from amongst us is eventually interned.

That's low tech...

Software triggered video switches which change resolutions have been around for years. Wide Area Surveillance security systems use them all the time (unless they're really high tech and they use geospatial camera tracking on a unified display in which case you can have an infinite number of cameras reporting metadeta to a single computer which renders it all in realtime on a 3D display.)
