Game developers create games that can't run decently on current high-end hardware, while videocard makers charge $500 for videocards that can't play current games decently, while this "journalist" writes an article that smells just like marketing crap, and calls a videocard that can barely sustain 30 fps in Crysis as "brilliant piece" for it.

But in the end of the day all of them can trust the consumer stupidity.
this review is not correct the 8800 gt is a pci 2.0 card and should have been run on a x38 intel chipset that has pci express 2.0 mabe this card will beat all the other cards including the 8800 gts
what do the others think? still 1600x1200? who the hell will own this resolution at the 22 century matrix age?

Good job for bringing in 1680x1050 which should be the mainstream now.
Where is the 8800GT £134.99? Kikatek have stopped showing it on their site, now dabs/overclockers/etc are knocking it out for £160-200+

It seems we are being ripped off on prices again in the UK.

i have an amd 4400+ oc to 2.54ghz and 2 gig of standard hynix ram with an 8800gtx - i score 9145 on 3dmark 06 albeit the sm2 score = 4250 and sm3/hdr score = 4787. I will post some pics if wanted of crysis - i get and avg frame rate of 32fps with high settings with dx 9 and a min 0f 28fps - max sometimes 49 fps - this is an old 939 socket a8n32sli deluxe mb - why the hell is the quadcore score not higher - in fact much higer than mine - you guys must be missing something with the drivers...
I used nvidias optimized drivers - oh my resolution was at 1280 x 1024
Stop complaining rick that it's £176 at dabs, it costs £241 (1249PLN) if you want to get it now in Poland!

Prices sure to fall once ATI X3xxx's are released.
Please use regular graphs man, don't try to reinvent the wheel or get cute.

Horrible graphs people. Use simple non 3d graphs next time.
ffs, can we use some reasonable graphs.

I've bought a Ti4200 years ago, it looks like it's finally time for me to make my upgrade :)
8/10 for the best VGA a.t.m.
Biased review anyone?

I don't want to think when I look at a Graph. Use the simple bar graph please.
Unless I am blind, your components list fails to mention what version of the 8800 gts you used.

Ok GT has made some small wins but in most benchmarks the GTX is still a faster
