This effectively allows Apple to remove any competition it has with it's own products (current/planned) simply by refusing to host it on their website.

Companies that may have best of breed products would then be refused access to their iPhone user base to favour Apple products.

"New", "dreaming of"? The Iphone is very similar to my gaming phone concept from many years beforehand, the new PSP like Sony gaming phone patent too. Actually, a lot of Apple touch techniques look like my older techniques (except perhaps the wheel, nope I remember now, I think I had that beforehand too).
