Not at all... You could possibly deduce that Scrabulous was inspired by Scrabble, but the words are hardly similar. In fact given that I suspect it's a contraction of Fabulous and Scrabble, it only actually owes 3 letter to the word Scrabble.
Those 3 letters could have come from Scratch, hmmm Scrabulous, the new name for relieving a really annoying itch... Ahhh, bliss.
