The names "Scrabulous" and "Scrabble" are "confusingly similar"

Not at all... You could possibly deduce that Scrabulous was inspired by Scrabble, but the words are hardly similar. In fact given that I suspect it's a contraction of Fabulous and Scrabble, it only actually owes 3 letter to the word Scrabble.
Those 3 letters could have come from Scratch, hmmm Scrabulous, the new name for relieving a really annoying itch... Ahhh, bliss.

Then again, when have lawyers ever lived in the real world?
