intel?

intel doesnt deserve a break, they monopolised the crap out of AMD trying to kill off a company, and yet intel gets all this "special" treatment, one of the main reasons why ill never buy an intel CPU again

Last Nail in the Coffin ?

Sounds like the Euro commission is trying to be as fair as possible and avoid all appearances of bias , before they slam the lid shut and drive the final nail in this coffin.

They just fined MS ,the odds are slim that they will turn around and say that Intels tactics were not monopolistic in their aims.

Screw Intel and their marketing machine.
I pray that the next Intel CEO is trained in R&D and not marketing as is Mr.Ottelini.

AMDs own fault

AMD have problems producing enough chips to satisfy demands.
How can they claim that Intel is stiffling them? If they can't make money selling that many chips - they have a serious problem.
Besides, intel only gives quantum rebate now. It doesn't seem to have changed much.
