Isn't it ironic that a tech site is promoting fear and ignorance of a mobility technology that's actually safer far than bikes?

Or More Likely...

...Giuliani just didn't want to be seen as a total hypocrite to New Yorkers, who thanks to the inaction of Mr. I Kicked A** During Nine-Eleven, found Segways in a legal black hole here that Mayor Bloomberg also has failed to address. Amusingly, the NYPD just bought ten Segways. Nice to see New York City's Finest setting a good example by ignoring the laws, regulations and statutes they are upholding.

Bush fell because he hadn't switched on the gyroscope that is suppose to make the thing idiot-proof I understand, he temporarily forgot he's the definition of one.
And if you judge the safety of devices on drunks trying to use them.. well I'm guessing you don't drive then? nor walk? that sidewalk hurt many a drunk.
