Will the Feds allow this?

I am under the impression that there is a Federal US law or regulation that prohibits any US company from sending any Semiconductor technology from the last 2 generations (65nm & 90nm currently) to China. Is that not true and if it is true how did IBM get around this rule with SMIC? Can you tell us about the credibility of your source in this case?

Yeah Right

The commies will license it long enough to copy it then dump their contract and the Reds will then make it themselves and say piss off west. We will whine and moan and continue to buy their cheap crap because our greedy corporations love the cheap labor and no EPA regulations to worry about.
