Let me tell you guys something

1. Mobile phones do not interfere with fully funcioning airplane equipment.
2. You can't use your own mobile phone 3G Internet connection because the plane's altitute is out of reach of terrestrial antennas.
3. Yeah, that means that you can't call people either and that those people calling home inside an airborne airplane on 9/11 2001 are fake.

So do mobile phones actually crash airplanes or was that all baloney?

Does leaving a mobile phone switched on cause the airplane to crash, or was that all a load of baloney?

If the airplane can let me use the broadband cell, then I guess I can use my mobile phone too? Is that right?

How is this different then?

If they are using the cell networks why can't we? Obvious I wouldn't want someone bantering on the phone but tethering my laptop and phone should be allowed...

CBB

I really liked ConneXion by Boeing when it was still available... something to pass the long transatlantic flights.

Yeah, right, AA is first.
