I'm 43, when I was 15 I wrote a song, hammer or the Nail. You have two choices in life when it comes to governments, your the hammer or the nail, or maybe you pretend to be a hammer then nail them when you get to the top. By then the corruption has crept in and infected you, ramble ramble. What can we do? stop them? LOL
Is the call to overthrow a government appropriate in your tech news site? I lament any killings or abuses of humans, but calling for a government to be overthrown seems a tad over the top for this fine website. Makes me wonder if someone had too much coffee and had a girlfriend dump him?
"Any government that so oppresses and abuses its own citizenry forfeits its legitimacy and the populace has to overthrow it."

The US has been deteriorating, in terms of civil rights, for over 80 years. We are LONG overdue for a revolution against the US government. The problem is that the people destroying our country are very patient, and very subtle. They intend to take apart the US legal system one tiny piece at a time. Social Security, Social Security Numbers, so-called case law, The Patriot Act, it's all connected.

If you assume that Jesus either never existed or was never resurrected, than today's morals make perfect sense. The entire crux of the matter is, did a man live a perfect life, die, and rise again 3 days later? I stunned my friend the other day by suggesting that both the Democratic AND Republican Party were ruled by Satan.

The world is doomed, but you still have a chance to side with the winners.
"Ingushetia's troubles will likely continue, even escalate. Any government that so oppresses and abuses its own citizenry forfeits its legitimacy and the populace has to overthrow it. µ"

Chechnya has been peaceful in recent years precisely BECAUSE the Russian government has ruthlessly crushed all opposition. This murder gives the Chechens another sensible excuse not to suicidally oppose Russia.
Thanks for the article -- The Inq's continued vigilance over journalistic freedoms across the globe are appreciated. It's always hard to understand what we take for granted until there's an extreme counterpoint made evident.

If the press is afraid to function or objectively cover things which must be addressed -- then they merely become a paid advertisement index.
Hi,

wasn't the Inquirer a tech mag, not a political propaganda tool?

Any sources, links, or just the australian "first-hand" account?

Ridiculous, and not worthy of this site. I think I'll get my tech news elsewhere...the bias here is starting to become too much.
( because of the big contracts between Russia & us )
and if those with leverage won't oppose it, then they just have to be murdered.

Simple economics of force.

Maybe pretending no responsibility will fool our "news" make believe, or our "history" make believe, but will it fool god?

BTW, it wasn't "killing", it was "execution", which has a different meaning: intent to eradicate, no mere accident.

We've used the same methods for years: our secret police manuals identifying how to execute those who are in the way, or a threat, by hiring organized crime to perform the "hit" if possible ( proves it wasn't "us", right? ), or how to make certain it looks like a random murder, otherwise...

Paladin Press for more gov't manuals on murder & terrorism, if you want to know...

Perhaps they just mistook him for a brazilian tourist, or UN weapons inspectors, and was it all legitimate (according to british 'rules of engagement')?
Or perhaps this story is all BS and part of the ongoing propaganda war and it will be retracted on page 9 in small print.

Is it just me, or are the Russians in need of a serious ass-kicking...

This is how the Russian state works. Remember Litvinenko?
I would call this a gangster state...
