You know mycelo, skype does censorship for the chinese by preventing people chatting about certain things, which is obviously only possible if they monitor the chat.
So what's with the 'paranoid' crack? It's no longer paranoia once they admitted it, or do you call the NSA listening in on americans also 'paranoia'?

I had signed up for skype when they had the free calls going. haven't used it since. I bet my account is in the 276M and the 100Bl minutes.

Skype LOVES to claim they have 276 million users. What they MIGHT actually have is 276 million user accounts, and heaven only knows how many of those are still active. My guess is that the majority of them have already given up and left in disgust because the program wouldn't work for them, and they got no response whatsoever from Skype's so-called "customer support".

Means that they surely log the talking time of each conversation, and possibly the starting time and the users involved (paranoid minds would also claim they record the very conversation).

Also, when two skype users talk to each other, I bet they count the time twice.
