Smart: ad 1, there is 4x BD already; ad 2, you don't need 18x DVD write in a camcorder, do you?

2x blu-ray=9x DVD=news to most people

Transfer speeds of Blu-ray are now about half that of regular, 18x, DVD. Since when did speed stop mattering? When the ad money started coming in? Magee? I thought you had an answer for everything.
