Obviously this Plus Pack is meant to be used with Windows Vista Home Basic and is a kind of Upgrade. Taking a look at the product for 2 seconds makes that very clear. But why bother with facts if you can write one of those oh-so-well-written flamebaits about Microsoft again, eh Wily?

Yeah, come on MS. Before you do any shenanigans like "Plus" you need to make good on more Ultimate extra's that FUNDED a good deal of this other stuff you are developing.

Reading the link posted, it looks like the program upgrades Vista Basic to Vista Home Premium. It looks like it adds Aero, Media Center, Tablet PC functionality, and desktop search. I'd imagine this is only useful to the one person who purchased a capable computer but only purchased it with Vista Basic.

Thats the most stupid idea ever, I'm sorry - I like Microsoft but this is such a blunder.

I didn't pay for my Ultimate, but if I did - I'd be raging that they even suggested paying for 'extras' when surely ultimate users get this stuff for free!!

tho maybe its too soon.. and it is in the pipe line..
