They ban your console serial number, they don't ban your xbox live account.

Hi 

I have had my xbox live box banned but not my user account. Any idea why they would do this? I haven’t even taken the cover off it, let alone have it modified or anything.

The xbox support team refused to even give me the reason behind this decision, and just said that there is no recourse from the decision to ban my box.

Obviously I am extremely angry and frustrated. I can’t even find a contact number or email address of anyone else from xbox/Microsoft to talk to regarding this.

I would be helpful of any advice or assistance you could offer.
