It really doesn't matter if you like Apple or the iPhone. Business is business. All criticisms aside, iPhone = more AT&T subscribers.

Ivan knows Innovation

Ivan should be considered a good judge of business puffery, given his record. Check out, for instance, the precipitate decline in stock price of Idearc Media (IAR), his spin-off of Verizon's Yellow Pages arm, which he touted as an 'unlocking of shareholder value'. $25 at issue, $2.50 today.

And the whinge about no iPhone for his retro network? Classic Ivan.

Yes I was a V employee.

crym0r verizo-[er, no Kenneth, not that word thanks. MOD] .. Vz is pretty bloody awful with their stupid phones and tarted-up "value added" garbage like ringtones TV and whatnot.

Newsflash: we want our networks cheap, fast, and dumb as dirt.

Friggin frequency oligopolies...

"If he really would like to be able to sell the Iphone on the Verizon network, Seidenberg seems to have a very weird view of how to win friends and influence people."

yes... exactly... unlike most tech "journalists" out there who have been pendering to Apple by flooding in positive coverages for a chance to get some free access

Authorities in several countries raided Megaupload recently, shut down all of its services, seized hundreds of servers and arrested several of its executives on criminal charges.

Do you think the move was justified?
