If there is 300w passing through then will the board get hot and eventually fail?

Or will the power come through a cable from the PSU?

I just wonder how the motherboard will cope if it has such huge wattage flowing through it, heat spreaders across the motherboard?

The difference is a factor of 8 between bits per second and bytes per second even if you don't consider the 1000/1024 issue.

I wish people would use lowercase b for bit and uppercase B for byte. I don't really care about the 1000 vs. 1024 thing, but bits vs. bytes can get confusing in this sort of article.
