I was going to comment on something much like that... then I noticed Ed beat me to it.

Green solution: already available

There is a "green software solution" already available, which does not waste energy scanning for viruses, or need cutting-edge processors and graphics chips running at very high loads 24/7.

It is called Linux, and it is free (or nearly so, with support contracts), and highly resistant to virus attacks.

I would have thought the "free" part and the "energy efficient" part, and the "more secure" part would have caught banking (and other) customers' attention more that yet another patch to maintain to compensate for Microsoft's software inadequacies.

Ban him, please.

Please ban the ignorant twit. If he's going to be rude, no reason to let him read. Unless, of course, he clicks the ads. ;-)

Which Bank??

You wanna share which bank this is with the rest of us? I have never heard of it.

Do I have to google everything to know what you are talking about? [You are a rude and ignorant reader, we usually ban your kind from the pages of the INQ. Leumi Bank is a big Israeli bank based in London. Ed.]

Still waiting E.ON UK credits

With enough E.ON UK credits the Mageeks could get Powerwise and become spot on the dosh for letting INQ Central out as a spiffy tourist crib during the 2012 Olympics.

Quite an eco-friendly fit bird what with the Sanyo roof treatments. That is if Ed doesn't coo a warbler!

INQ Poll

Authorities in several countries raided Megaupload recently, shut down all of its services, seized hundreds of servers and arrested several of its executives on criminal charges.

Do you think the move was justified?
