Emmets

I must admit I got done by this. I walked into a local pub and asked the barman which way to the Eden project and he told me to follow the A30 until you see signs for porthemmet.

The signs never materialised and we of course made fools of ourselfs asking further locals where porth emmet is.

To be honest it did make us think about Cornwall from a locals point of view and why some of the Cornish are sick of Emmets. Still fair play to them for this joke, we did laugh once we figured out we'd been had.

Makes a change to see people actually having a laugh, had this happened in England there'd be a court case because an ethnic minority got offended at being called an "emmet".

I have since moved to Cornwall, it's only another 609 years to go till i get my official Cornish status.

Topless bathing

lots of beaches in Britain allow topless sunbathing. Like Brighton, for example. It's not a problem. There's even a nudist beach here. Get with the times!
