I bloody well hope that they start putting these out around Glasgow public transport stations too. Ye cannie carry around a chippy poke with you, or drop it on the ground - the damn things are too big and obvious!

What happens when Londoners visit Singapore?

Doesn't Singapore have super-strict littering laws? (to go along with all the other super-strict laws)

I'd hate to get caned simply because I couldn't break a habit that's totally acceptable at home.

I'm an American, btw, and I've already voted for McCain. My philosophy is,"Better a devil you know then a devil who has more secrets than the CIA." ;)

Possible outcome

Seems the bins are developed by BlastGard International, Media Metrica are the clever dicks who partnered with blastguard to have an excuse to sell ads by pretending to be worried about safety, and that's their addition, the ad-stuff, not the bomb-proof part.
