To get at Terminal and Disk Utility go to 'Utilities' on the installer menubar.

I wonder why apple kept the update live after so many problems?
The article fails to mention that this update is for those who are still running Tiger. Those running Leopard have experienced no issues with their recent update.
How does this differ from usual? I thought they were already useless and as heavy as bricks anyway ;p
