Are Intel trying to setup their product lineup before their competitors?

Are Intel trying to create their product lineup before their competitors, is this why they are sitting on the spec?

what

WTF:
from intel
After all, the sooner USB 3.0 hits the market, the sooner all you readers will be flooding your devices and hard drives with insanely large files requiring masses amounts of computational resources, improving your lives, and making you pleased that you bought a quad-core processor.

and there was me hoping unline USB2 USB3 would not take masses of CPU cyles

Great Caesar's ghost! What a Knupfferfuffle!

Is this Huey, Dewey, and Louie Phooey Ptui? Great-Uncle Scrooge McDuck! Why has the 'Quack Pack' gone willy-nilly with publishing the "Junior Woodchucks Guidebook?"
Is this The ? End
Megawallop will go through Chipzilla like crap through a goose! We need bigger guns!

Here's Intel's 'Swan Song:'

Six little ducks
That I once knew
Short ones, skinny ones,
Fair ones, too.

Down to the river
They would go.
Wibble, wobble, wibble, wobble,
To and fro.

But the one little duck
With the feather on his back,
He led the others
With a quack, quack, quack.

They started for market
One fine day
But lost their wares
Along the way.

Not a penny in their pocket
Not a nickle in their sack
They went to the baker
With a quack, quack, quack.

Put him the oven and put him in the pan,
Roll him up, Roll him up,
The Best You Can!

Oh for the lurve of Cloverfield... err... town! "History shows again and again How nature points up the folly of men!"

*whine*

Heaven forbid research and development to get shit right the first time. Have 30 different companies get together and throw a spec out just because they want to show it to the world and make a bit of money off of it, not knowing what issues they're going to come across.

If they're taking a while to get it right before they send it out, there's probably a "goddamn" reason.

Has anyone even suspected (before pointing a sheep hoof), that they're trying to improve the process, or possibly include a feature that will be harnessed by an upcoming chipset that is yet to be released?

Of course not. Knee-jerk reaction is to whine because it's not out and point at the first target you hate without knowing the details.

Authorities in several countries raided Megaupload recently, shut down all of its services, seized hundreds of servers and arrested several of its executives on criminal charges.

Do you think the move was justified?
