Firefox 3.0 is a great update from 2.0, looks much better (on Vista in particular) and I love some of the new features.

Getting a lot of crashes with RC1 though, from simple things such as posting comments on certain websites and using the back button. Hope these get fixed before the final release or it might force me to go to Opera.

Also missing some of my extensions as very few are compatible just yet, but I'm sure that most of the extension developers are working hard to get these done.
because it requires newer gimp toolkit, or something...

( no I'm not going to re-attempt it just to find out what it was, gtk 2.10? g-something, with a "10" in it, anyhoo )
I Mean 13 mb & 8 Mb, Sorry, late night scribble, ditto: seamonky(sic)Hahaha.
I recently tried Beta seaMonkey & learned bit about FRAME BUFFER CORRUPTION, as original 1.1.9 wasn't completely in tune with ultimate till patched. Only real problem for moz is IE7 is 35 mb of software, which just makes it better, yet when IE7 starts to lag or be balkie, Seamonkey usually does job.
Just think, turn on computer, instead of bios splash, ta-da, ubantu or some Linux shortie like mepis. Hack at few add-ons once week & soon you'll be familar with Linux & Windows & How about Apple, too?

I can't complain about FF3rc1. Does what it says on the tin.

But, the vast majority of my extensions are not supported under it. I didn't realise how reliant I was upon them, until I couldn't use them any more.
eg. Google Browser Sync, Google Search, SwitchProxy
I have no problems with FF3 b5 but 14000 bug fixes sound nice....even though I have not found any of them fF3b5 is rock solid have had no problems with it but ...for the same reason I tried 3b5 I will try rc1, Bcause I can.
Seamonky is bigger program at 13 gb while firefox 3 is mere 8 gb. Also firefox3 is really 1.2.3 in numbering. In theory started about year ago, suiterunner is 2.0 yet silent.

Seamonkey is 1.1.9 yet it seems best mose for playback of media.(there are bunch more mozillia browser names, too)

So far I haven't had any problems and it uses less system resources (as if it were a problem ,lol). The only thing is that I had to lose my theme but I've found another one. It also seems to be a little faster then Firefox 2. (It may just be me), ^_^

Sod that - 8gb will take ages to download.

;)
