I'm tired of loud, noisy computers that make you want to toss them out a window. 

I can concentrate on what I'm doing so much easier if I can hear myself think. 

Changes like these are overdue. I have long believed that part of the reason laptops are popular these days is that you feel more comfortable using them, because they are so quiet.
